Club UNIFY is a part of Project Unify and is designed for elementary students. Club UNIFY is dedicated to cheering on Special Olympics athletes, especially those in our school, and getting other students involved as well. Club UNIFY introduces students to other students with different abilities. Students meet Special Olympic athletes and discover how much they have in common.

Our ultimate goal is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and respect at our school and in our community. Davis Elementary School (DES) held a Club UNIFY run on Friday, May 5th. DES Special Olympians were paired with our DES Little Rockers who ran in the Little Rockers Kids Marathon.

The DES Special Olympians and the Little Rockers ran a mile as the entire school cheered them on! Each class in grades K-5 designed posters in Art class and brought them to the run. The DES Special Olympians received medals at the end of the run to celebrate their success!
